1. Entry fee will be determined by event organiser and will include a reg / admin fee.

2. All non-full members playing in a League / event will be subject to additional match or green fees along with the entry fee, permitting them access for their match times only.
(The event organiser will confirm what fees apply)
The current access fee options would apply otherwise!
See our Membership Form document, page 2, for all access options / fees. (click here)

3. All players must play each match within the time allocated or it will be foreit or void.
Extensions can be requested under certain circumstances.

4. The playing format of each league / event will be disclosed before it begins.
(It is the responsibility of each player to ensure they are aware of the rules and requirements of the schedule).

5. Any match not played in the time allocated or if no scoresheet / result is received then the match is voided. Both players may be penalised as a result!

For example, in a league format, Session 1 are matches / weeks 1 and 2 of the league.
Both these games have to be played and scoresheet submitted within the time allowed.
Once the next respective session begins, matches in the previous session are frozen.
Supplying a scorecard late will not be accepted in any case!
Once the match is void / frozen thats how it will remain.

(NOTE: Any claims of points for matches not played must also be done within the session allocated or they will not be valid! See rules 16 & 21-23)

6. Generally, it is the responsibility of both players to ensure the match is played on time and the scoresheet / result is submitted.. Do not arrive to a match without a scoresheet! Saying "there was none in the venue" won't be acceptable. They can be printed from the website so have a backup with you.

7. Any player who forfeits 2 matches in succession in a League will be disqualified and removed from the event.

8. Any player who forfeits more than 2 matches throughout an entire league cannot claim any prize monies.

9. Any player who is in arears with entry / admission / match fees or other will not be able to claim prize monies until the arrears are cleared! (For example: if a player has any outstanding subs or other, the prize monies withheld will clear all owes before any cash payout will be allowed!)

10. All Players must complete the fixtures schedule. In a League structure the winner will be determined by the player with the highest points.

11. Should 2 players finish with the same points in a League event, then the winner will be decided by the head to head result, then by frame count.

12. Prize Funds are always determined by the number of players entered and all fees being received. In general, the top 2 in each league division are always paid out.
Any further payouts will solely depend on what is in the pot for the event.

13. The number of places made available in an event can vary;
In a League division it's usually 12 and Knockout Events can be 16-32.
(This can be changed so to benefit the event & format depending on interest)

14. Any playoffs for an event will directly follow the completed fixtures schedule.
This will usually exclude the players finishing in prize money positions.
(To qualify for any playoffs you must have no outstanding fees, no outstanding matches, and complied with rules 7 & 8 above)

15. Players are not only required to use the scoresheets provided but they must ensure they use the correct scoresheet, fill it out properly & submit it after every match!. (Usually the winner submits the result but in the event of a draw either player can do so)

16. With regards to using and submitting results / scoresheets:

Ensure you are prepared and always have a scoresheet with you for every match!
A piece of random paper with scores scribbled on it will not be accepted!

All scoresheets are to be left in the office after each match.
A photo of the scoresheet is to be posted in the respective Whats-App Group.

If an official scoresheet is not submitted, the match will be voided.
Both players will also be deducted points (1 penalty point).

If a scoresheet is not filled out correctly or completely, the match can also be voided.
Both players will also be deducted points (1 penalty point).
(NOTE: completely means that all boxes are filled out clearly and are fully legible!

To ensure players are actually playing all matches and not just filling out results, both players must print and sign their name on all scoresheets!

A player found fixing scores / cheating will receive a max penalty deduction (6 points).
A second offense regarding match fixing will result in being disqualified from the league.

17. It is required that players book a table for the date and time they are playing their match. Failure to do so may result in you having to wait for a table to become available.

18. A table which is booked for a specific time by a player for their match is their table from that time until the end of the match. A maximum 2 hour time window is allowed to be booked for a league match and the players must vacate that particular table when the match ends.

19. Anyone using a table which is pre-booked is required to move to another vacant or next available table. The players who are booked on it cannot just move to another table as it may also be pre-booked for another match. Always check the calendar!
Make sure to only use the table you have booked or it can get very messy!

20. Regarding rules 17-19, if a table is booked and both players have not arrived up to 20 minutes into the booking then the booking is void and the table is free to be rebooked and used. Should the players then arrive they cannot re-claim the table if it is being used, they will just have to wait for a table to become available and rebook!

21. If a player is running late and does not give adequate notice that they will be late, then their opponant, once they are already in the venue, can claim a frame every 10 minutes starting from a quarter hour after the arranged start time.
(example: match arranged 7pm, no show by 7:15pm, at 7:25pm first frame claimed, 7:35pm 2nd frame and so on)

22. Regarding late arrivals in rule 21, if frames claimed exceed 5 and the opponent still has not arrived, then the match is forfeit.
(Once the match is forfeit, all points are awarded to the player waiting in the venue)

23. With regards to no shows or players cancelling matches -
If a player does not show up for their arranged match, rules 21 & 22 are set in motion!
Players must give at least 24 hours notice in order to cancel a match. (aka: day before)

Only in extreme cases may cancelling on the day be allowed or a forfeit will apply!.
A player already in the venue when an opponent cancels can claim a forfeit.
Any player cancelling an arranged match a 2nd time automatically forfeits the match.

24. The Rule-Set being played is always disclosed for each event so make sure you play the correct rules in your matches!

25. Players lag before the start of any match and alternate breaks throughout. No re-lag for final deciding frames.

26. Only if specifically stated for the likes of Match Sets will players lag at the start of each set and alternate breaks throughout the match.

27. All Players are required to conduct themselves in a respectful and sporting manner at all times.

28. No official dress code is required for these events unless specifically requested for the purpose of photos, recording or T.V.

Rules and Terms may be added to or adjusted if required.
